Last year, one of our Directors, Frances started talking about Sky Diving for a charity. Fast forward to this year and she met the fabulous Fiona Harwood of Lewis-Manning Hospice Care and now she's signed up to do the Jump for a nurse fundraiser.
And, after talking about it at home, her two sons Baker Miles, Dorset Oysters and Jarrah Miles, Shucking Good Oysters, have decided they wanted to do it with her and are sky diving too.
They will be Jumping for a nurse on 21st September 2024.
They are ALL terrified of heights, so this will be a huge personal challenge for each of them to overcome. They may well be heard screaming all the way down.
Lewis Manning provide many wonderful services for people within the East Dorset area with life limiting illnesses and as a family The Miles' have personal experience of how amazing these nurses are, when Frances' lovely Mum needed this type of support.
We don't have much time to raise money so if anyone is able to help support this fabulous charity with a donation, however small, it would be greatly appreciated.
