    Purchasing Administrator SALARY: £19,000 - £23,000 Per Annum

    A busy role in an engineering Company where you will be responsible for:-

    • Chasing outstanding orders
    • Organising deliveries
    • Chasing overdue stock and confirming delivery dates
    • Checking order acknowledgements and saving them to the system
    • Chasing orders for Clients and keeping them up to date
    • Opening order books
    • Checking quality of product
    • Re-sourcing of parts
    • Data collation and report building
    • Booking collection requests
    • Organising returns
    • Revalidating pricing with supplier and expediting deliveries
    • Answering telephone and general admin

    You will be dealing with around 1000 items from France, US and UK.

    This role would suit someone who has previously worked in an Engineering environment where they have dealt with supply chain, purchasing and quality departments. An eye for detail and good computer skills (Word, Excel and possibly Access) would be essential as well as excellent communication skills.
